Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Controller will be responsible for oversight of all accounting, and reporting activities across a multi-branch, $50M+ revenue services business owned by CPS Capital. This individual will lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely and accurate ﬁnancial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, coordinate with HR team member and manage external finance vendors where applicable. The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of controllership, bookkeeping, audit, tax, compliance, and ﬁnancial reporting for the organization.

Accounting Leadership

Manages enterprise risk, including oversight of insurance programs (in conjunction with HRcounterpart)
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across accounting and finance functions
Lead or support CRM and financial system implementations and enhancements, including integration with accounting platforms, ensuring data integrity, reporting alignment, and user adoption
Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure,demonstratingthe ability to bring clarity, prioritize competing demands, and execute with minimal direction
Self-starter with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset, capable of independentlyidentifyingissues, developing practical solutions, and driving them through to completion

Qualiﬁcations

4-7yearsofprogressiveaccountingandﬁnanceexperience,ideallybeginninginpublicaccounting/audit and followed by industry experience in a multi-entity business
Excellentaccountingknowledge,includingfamiliaritywithUSGAAP(CPAdesignationpreferred)
Proﬁciencyinworkingwithmultiplesystems,includingleveragingtechnologyandintegrationsto automate accounting processes
Excellentorganizationalskillsandnaturalattentiontodetailandorder
University or College Degree

Compensation Band:

$90-$120K USD, plus benefits
